Pella wanted something “out of the box” to promote their Architect Series line of windows, so we pitched a concept to Pella and the Chicago Cubs to solve one of baseball’s oldest hazards...home runs breaking windows at Wrigley Field. We replaced 11 windows next to Wrigley at 1032 W. Waveland Street with home-run-resistant Pella windows to help protect residents from home-run ball violence.
I partnered with a writer and producer to work with the Chicago Cubs organization to film Cub employees and track down the perfect lifelong neighbor living next to Wrigley. Additionally, we shot in Pella, Iowa with Pella engineers to capture the hero of our video—the baseball cannon.
Savethewindows.net was created to showcase the cannon technology used in Pella’s shatterproof glass and highlight everything baseball enthusiasts love: tons of data.
